Edits will show up immediately locally, but they need to be approved before showing up for everyone. Most data was from firm web sites, Wikipedia, and The New Venturers by John Wilson. Some data was taken from Venture Capital at the Crossroads, Creative Capital, Valley Boy, The Startup Game, and Elfer's Greylock. Other sources are in with the rest of the data as 'cites'; you can see them in the data source or in edit mode.
Thanks to Josh Reich, Chris Wiggins and Sam Ewen, who helped make this less ugly and more informative. All remaining ugliness and uniformativeness is completely my fault for not taking all of their advice. I'm using jQuery, jQueryUI, and a modified d3.
